The first year of this program provides students with a curriculum designed to match the 100-hour Pre-Service course offered to law enforcement personnel by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. Students will be exposed to the role of law enforcement personnel in the criminal justice and the court system. Criminal justice professionals are invited to participate in various aspects of the program. Cadets are trained in military protocol and are expected to wear the cadet uniform on designated occasions. This program is designed for anyone interested in any field in the Criminal Justice system or any branch of the military. Students will be expected to participate in an overnight field experience during the school year.
Acceptance in this program is by application process.
