Graphics and Printing Technology II

This program is a three period, three credit course that is available for seniors, but consideration will be given for one or two periods with Graphic and Printing Technology I as a prerequisite and with prior approval by instructor.  Students will be able to further enhance their knowledge and technical skills by producing more complex projects and live work.  The class and lab environment wil be operated similarly to that of a small printing company.  Students will be introduced to the many jobs and skills required in the daily operation of a printing company. Projects and live work will be used to further enhance the student's skills by creating and producing multi color screen printing, offset printing and design projects.  Such topics as paper, ink, job estimation, job scheduling, customer relations, teamwork and quality control will be an intricate part of the program.

 

Course Requirements

Acceptance is based on successful completion of Graphic and Printing Technology I and instructor recommendation.
