Region 11, Oxford Hills Technical School

A Message from the Principal and Technical School Director:

Welcome to Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.  We believe in preparing all students for college, career, and citizenship through academic and technical education experiences and positive school relationships.  It is our goal to find the unique needs and interests of our students and do everything we can to meet those needs and interests.

We are proud to say that we have the best educators.  Our teachers and support personnel are passionate about students and the community.  In fact, many of our educators graduated from OHCHS and are active members in the various communities that make up the Oxford Hills School District.

OHCHS is fortunate to have one of the best educational facilities in the State of Maine.  Students meet in climate controlled classrooms and labs to learn the rigorous academics and state of the art technical knowledge that is required for success in today's global economy.  Classes include 12 Advanced Placement courses and over 20 technical programs.  Students often enroll in both.  Students can also take college courses either as part of technical programs or through Western Maine Community College which is located on the grounds of the high school.

Outside of the classroom, we have 43 varsity and sub-varsity extracurricular athletic offerings.  We also provide 30 co-curricular club and student organizations for students to participate in.  The educational value of a student’s involvement in extracurricular or co-curricular activities at OHCHS is very important.

Our students are very fortunate to live in communities that have supported the extensive educational opportunities offered at OHCHS.  Please take the time to review our complete website.

Yours truly,

Theodore C. Moccia                Shawn L. Lambert

Principal                                   Technical School Director
